People of all ages and from all walks of life are welcome, and whilst you must be 18 years of age to visit or become a member, children are welcome to attend functions with their parents. All we expect is that you have a genuine interest in the naturist lifestyle and wish to experience it for yourself. If you would like to attend one of our functions as a vistor you will need to telephone the Club to arrange an interview with some of our Committee members, or you may be invited to one of our "public" functions e.g. a swim on Warnbro Free Beach. If an interview is arranged this is normally at a cafe for a relaxed cup of coffee or even lunch at a restaurant, and will give you the opportunity to ask lots of questions.
Following a successful interview, you will be invited to one of our functions. As a visitor you will be made very welcome and given the opportunity to meet lots of friendly people from all walks of life. It's a great way to instantly improve your social life!
If it is your first time visiting a nudist club, we will do our very best to make you feel comfortable. At Phoenix no-one will pressure you to be nude, and in any case, we also hold functions where clothing is necessary, or is optional. Once you have confidence that your body doesn't look any different to anyone else's, and feel at ease in a friendly club atmosphere, then you can take that next step. Use a wrap or towel at first by all means, but to experience that great feeling of freedom, of throwing away those work-day cares and rejecting the concept that only models can be seen nude, you will want to take the plunge. Perhaps it will feel a bit odd at first, but we promise, once you get used to it there is no going back.

Please bring a towel to sit on for your comfort. If there are swimming, spa or sauna facilities at the venue you may wish to bring a second towel to dry yourself with.
There is a nominal charge for entry (usually $10 for visitors) unless food or other facilities are provided. Children are welcome to attend most club social and sporting functions with their parents. There are no entry fees for children. As Phoenix is a social club we seek to maintain a gender balance for everyone's comfort. This means that sometimes we have to restrict single visitors. |
